My name is Joe O’Brien I’m a 15 year old racing cyclist from Amersham, UK
I started racing age 10, currently I ride for a club called Lee Valley (in the uk) and Flanders Coloor Galoo (Belgium). I started out doing football but soon realised after sports days that I had good endurance and stamina, and wasn’t particularly good at football. My Dad was previously an elite level cyclist and since I wasn’t enjoying football anymore he took me down to Hillingdon cycle track and it snowballed from there!
The purpose of this website is to give an insight into my training and racing, I’m writing this in March 2021 and racing is just round the corner, I’m hoping this season is my best one yet!
